Valium.
Valium (diazepam) has been specially designed for the treatment of anxiety and is supposed to be taken only by people to whom it was prescribed. Do not take Valium if you have been diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, severe breathing problem, narrow-angle glaucoma, sleep apnea, or severe liver disease, as you are not going to benefit from that kind of treatment anyway. Make sure you take valium exactly as recommended without taking more or less than needed. Taking more of Valium, even if you skipped a dose, may lead to an overdose. An overdose of Valium can lead to death. Always make sure you take just the right amount prescribed to benefit from the treatment. If you think you need a higher dose talk to your health care provider first but do not adjust the dose yourself. Even if you take Valium as prescribed, side effects are still possible and can include any of the following reactions: constipation, headache, blurred vision, nausea, skin rash, dizziness, vomiting, sleep problems, memory problems, dry mouth, and drowsiness. The mild side effects mentioned are not expected to get worse with time or interfere with your everyday life activities. However, it they do make sure to report them to your doctor right away.
